Brief explanation of the therapy
This therapy takes the emotions out of Stress. It helps a client look at their life and decide what Stress they can cope with, and what Stress they want out of their life. Marilyn gives strategies for coping with Stress or for removing it from a client’s life, whichever is appropriate.
What can the client expect at the appointment
At the first appointment Marilyn takes full details of a client’s life . With the client she identifies Stress factors, and helps them decide on an easy plan of action.
They usually also have a 15 minute Relaxation Session.
What will happen in a session
At each session the client talks to Marilyn about their progress, and Marilyn takes them on a step further. This is backed up with positive re-enforcement in the Relaxation Session.
How many sessions should the client need before they see a result
At least six for a lasting improvement, though the client often notices an improvement even after the first session.

Additional note
This therapy is often linked with Hypnotherapy, Life Management and CBT. Each one is used to help the client achieve changes to make their life better. With each therapy Marilyn at some point takes the client to a pleasant state of Relaxation where things can be seen very clearly and positive thoughts can replace negative ones.
