John has had a varied career which has included time as a Professional Yacht Skipper, Meteorologist in the Arctic, grower of exotic plants (own business), and Trainer of Youth Workers. He has a 4th Dan Black belt in Ki Aikido and has a keen interest in Native American Teachings. He also has a beautiful garden and keeps bees.
