Elizabeth Anne Clayton

Elizabeth graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hampstead, London NW3.  As she had a keen interest in sport and being fit, she ran a clinic at the Barnet Copthall Sports Centre treating people of all ages with various complaints that included many injuries to the knee, ankle, elbow, and shoulder, as well as the usual back and neck pain. Following various post-graduate training courses in Cranial Osteopathy she started treating children and babies whilst still at Copthall and also worked one day a week at the highly acclaimed Osteopathic Centre For Children in Harley St, London where she received ‘on-the-job’ guidance between 1998-2000.

In 2001 she took over her current osteopathic practice in Yeovil. Since being in Yeovil she has continued to pursue further training in cranial osteopathic techniques and now specialises in this discipline with particular interest in treating babies and children. She feels passionately about helping to make a difference to the behaviour of children as it can affect how they perform at school and therefore affect the rest of their lives. (Uncomfortable babies cry and want to be held all the time; uncomfortable children may find it difficult to concentrate for long or to be still for long enough to learn … reducing physical discomfort can help them).

In 2001 she moved to the West Country to fulfil a lifelong ambition to live in the countryside.  She loves to walk, garden and be outside.
