Would you like to find a little more peace in your life?  Mindfulness meditation, when practised regularly, has been shown in many clinical trials to help manage stress, anxiety and chronic pain, and to enhance resilience, positive mood and a feeling of wellbeing.

Taster session Monday 9th April 6pm-7:30pm

The next course will run from 14th May - 9th July 2018

Monday nights, 6:00pm - 8:30pm,

with a Mindfulness practice day on Saturday 30th June 10:00am - 4:00pm

This 8 week course in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, pioneered by Jon Kabat-Zinn , will teach you simple meditation techniques that have been used for over 2,000 years, and which will help you to live more in the present moment.  The core skills you will learn will help you to pay non-judgemental attention to what is going on, moment-to-moment, in your body, in your mind and in the world around you. There is no religious element to the course.


As participants practise the art of simply "being" they find themselves becoming calmer, stronger, happier and better able to discover new perspectives on the challenges life presents them with.


The cost of the eight-week course is £225. Payment is required in advance with a deposit of £95 at the time of booking and the balance 2 weeks before the course begins. Early booking is advised, as these classes are very popular and fill ahead of time.The course fee includes:


·    Initial discussion by telephone

·    8 weekly classes of two hours' duration

·    A course handbook 

·    Guided CD's to use for home practice

·    A day of Mindfulness Practice
